Investment attraction is a top priority for industrial development project construction. This morning, our city held a project signing event witnessed by city leaders, including Wang Jinzu, the Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Wei Dong, the Mayor, Li Donghe, the Director of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, and Wu Wentuan, the Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference.
Henglong's Plastic Project plans to invest 500 million CNY and will be involved in producing In-Mold Labeling (IML) thin-walled plastic packaging containers on an approximately 65-acre land. The project is expected to generate annual operating income of up to 500 million CNY and contribute 20 million CNY in taxes annually. It is scheduled to take possession of the land and begin construction in December of this year.
The In-Mold Labeling (IML) Smart Industrial Park for thin-walled packaging container production will utilize a total land area of 42,730 square meters (about 64 acres).
Fujian Henglong Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. is actively responding to the structural adjustment and transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry in Zhangzhou. It aims to become a leader in developing national standards for In-Mold Labeling (IML) thin-walled packaging containers in China, a pioneer in cutting-edge technology, a leader in smart manufacturing for both domestic and international markets, and a driving force for technological and economic development. It will provide comprehensive research and development facilities for the industry's supply chain in new plastic materials, Degradable Materials, new processes, and new technologies, making a positive contribution to regional economic prosperity, social stability, and fiscal revenue.
In the future, Henglong Plastic will continue to expand research and development of new plastic material products at its new Zhangzhou factory, setting industry standards, boosting regional economic growth, and driving urban development. The research and application of thin-walled high barrier products will receive increased investment and research and development in the future, with plans for larger-scale promotion and utilization in upcoming factories!
